  • Google Maps Platform APIs. We may share your information with certain Google Maps Platform APIs (e.g., Google Maps API, Place API). To find out more about Google’s Privacy Policy, please refer to this link. We use certain Google Maps Platform APIs to retrieve certain information when you make location-specific requests. This includes: Google Maps; and other similar information. A full list of what we use the information for can be found in this section and in the previous section titled “HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION?”. We obtain and store on your device (‘cache’) your location for six (6) months. You may revoke your consent anytime by contacting us at the contact details provided at the end of this document. The Google Maps Platform APIs that we use store and access cookies and other information on your devices.   • Vehicle Information. To provide you the best services, we may share the vehicle information you register while using the Services through our Website with CarFax. Vehicle data such as but not limited to: VIN, Order Creation Date, Checklist Date, Mileage, Service Description, Labor Description, Part Description, Part Quantity, Vehicle Year of Manufacture, Vehicle Make, Vehicle Model, License Plate and State, Chassis Number, Serial Number, Road Tax Expiry Date, Insurance Expiry Date, Management System (Fixnetics), Auto Repair Shop Name, Auto Repair Shop Mailing Address, Auto Repair Shop Phone and/or Mobile Number, and Auto Repair Shop URL address, are submitted to Carfax database and processed within 48 to 72 hours upon registration on the Site. The information gathered is stored in Carfax database to give its users access to vehicle’s maintenance and repair history for appropriate assessment of services. The information gathered is strictly for vehicle and shop-related purposes.

  • Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honour this privacy notice. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.


 

4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
